Scuttle with a warm water reservoir
The past few months I've been putting my scuttle in the other sink of our double vanity, in hot water while I shower. Then build my lather as normal, then put it back in the sink between passes. It's kind of spoiled me having nice warm lather. Of course that method works fine when mama is not using the her sink.
Having not purchased anything shaving related in awhile. I figured now would be a good time to buy a scuttle with a warm water reservoir.
I've seen the ones from Georgetown pottery, Leza and a couple others and like them all.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I have one of Georgetown's scuttles and have been rather happy with it. Great quality. Seems the ridges on the inside help create lather and retains warmth fairly well. Pleased with mine.

The amount of water it holds is the key. The Schwarz... is the king of scuttles but shipping is quite expensive. I have a Moss Scuttle and like it very much. Georgetown makes great ones too just with them make sure you get the latest that hold more water. Their earlier ones simply didn't. About 20oz of water is the minimum. The more the merrier.

Thanked: 228If you are wanting a Roberts Feat of Clay scuttle you had better get one before the end of the year. Because of returns and the costs of shipping being so high he is thinking about closing up his shop at the end of the year. He still has stuff on ebay but you never know!
