Default What's a nice-feeling and effective badger brush?

My "Tweezerman" brush from Amazon.com does OK but I'd like something better. Any suggestions?

What is a "nice feeling and effective" is different for different people. In all likelihood you will probably have to try a few till you get one you like.

That's generally true but suggestions are always welcome for some reason.

OK then, 3 that I find fit that "nice feeling and effective" criterion Semogue SOC 2 band silvertip, Shavemac 2 band silvertip, not the 2 band DO1, and Simpsons Manchurian.

Ive got an Elite Manchurian that has very soft tips and lots of backbone. Plus the Shavemac. These are my top pics. But as Bob said, its a matter of personnal perferance. My Shavemac is the D01 that Bob dont like. And i love mine. Like i we said, to each there own. I still have the other Shavemac on my want list.

I got the Shavemac, the VP Leon Hardy, the Savile Row. All good brands and very soft. Equally useful, effective, and soft is the line of badgers from Stirling Soap Company. For less than $50.00 each, they have great brushes.

A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.

Thater makes excellent brushes. Excellent backbone (I can't stand floppy brushes) but soft to the touch.

You need to tell us what you like. You want a marshmallow on yer face? You want floppy? You want sandpaper? You want mild scrubbing? You want backbone and soft tips or backbone and stiffer tips? I could go on and on.

All good questions. I'd like something soft that can still put down a nice lather.

I have a two band in a custom handle. The knot is from virginiasheng often referred to as VS knots.
