Thread: My Third Thater 4125/B

In April of this year I replaced my one and only brush a Col Conk silvertip that was probably 20 mm with a new Thater 30mm 4125/4 B Three Band. I loved it so much I bought a second Thater a 4125/6 B a 35 mm brush also a three band. I have this week received a third Thater, a 4125/5 B 32 mm this one is two band. Okay, I’ve shaved with Thater 4125s in three different size knots and in two and three band. I love them all. All are excellent for use with either soap or cream. I can’t tell a difference about the backbone BS. They are all fantastic brushes. All work perfectly with soap or cream. All are super soft on your face. I cannot tell any difference between Thater 4125 Three Band vs Two band. These are without question the most dense knots I’ve ever seen and from the first one in April till now none have shed a single hair! I am not and won’t be a collector of a dozen or more brushes. I’m sure Simpson’s and others are very nice but I don’t see anyone beating out the Thater especially the 4125 series. I love them.
