I can't say mine is an exact copy anyway. A wider base might be good looking too.

I can see making one of the same style but if you want the exact measurements and can't find one of your own you are making a forgery.

To be fair, I think for personal use copy is a better term. For sale without making it known that it's a copy would make it a forgery in imho.

I doubt many if any companies patented shaving brush handles to begin with. There are companies making reproduction shave brush handles of vintage shave brushes also. In order to be accused of forgery you have to make a copy with the "intent" to pass it off as the real thing. That is just not happening here.

I tend to agree with this statment. I am not try to make a make an exact copy. as I said in the OP I have never seen or held one and pictures on the internet don't really show size well for me.

And lets also remember that if you have ever buy anything that is made in china chances are 99% that it is a forgery.

I agree with Steve and Bob.
    There has to be intent.

I hope you are able to make a handle to your liking.. I made / 3d designed a brush similar to a rubberset 400 to use since I have had a hard time finding a real one. I made one that's supposed to be originals dimensions and I made a stubby version.. I also made a much smaller one for travel use if I want.. Well have fun and enjoy..
