Oumo Brush
Have been a customer in the last years.
Oumo Brush is one of the best in China.

I love the synth, on the sweet side, and they do some very nice.
But the great difference are the handles.
In these days, a new level.
A synthetic know hand-tied.
Ideally, with all the benefits of the best natural high-end badger.
BUT, without all the issues of the natural source.
Just done.
Sparrow S1, set 27x50mm
Babel "Nebula", 65mm
Now, the hard part ... waiting the 8th March.

Oumo Schumo, I can't get excited with any synthetic brush. The best I've seen is the Omega and it can't hold a candle to a good quality badger.
I guess if you be a strict vegan you're limited and maybe you have to keep searching for the newest and "best" there is.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Nope, I'm not vegan at all.
Just have a bad dermatitis, and synths work better for me.
I've tried some good quality badger (Simpson, Shavemac, Thater, Omega, Vielong, Plisson, ...).
But, I don't find the result is really better. Just the price.
And, new gen synth have softer points (than naturals) with no spring effect.
With a density comparable only to the best high-end Silvertip.
If properly setted (not high as default in shop), they're great.
This one (Oumo Sparrow S1) is the chinese version of the Wald Shaving concept.
Hand-tied knot, on super densely packed new gen synth fiber.
At a decent price.
BTW, always searching for the newest and best.
Just not the marketing, but the product.
I'll report my findings.Where there is a great desire there can be no great difficulty - Niccolò Machiavelli & Me

I'd still like to hear your opinion. I do like a synthetic brush now and then as I like to change up the game. But I've always wondered if you could make one tighter. More strands.
It's just Sharpening, right?

I don't think more strands would matter much. The problem is the material. Unlike natural where more equals tighter and more backbone the material they use is just like a jellyfish so more would still be the same feel. Maybe an O ring half way up would do more to give more "body" to it. I guess I should try that with one of mine.
