Yes, I enjoyed the book, it is stimulating. I still open it occasionally for a quickie here and there. Note that I don't agree with / espouse everything in it - but find it interesting.

A friend got me in contact with Lee Sabini from Rooney. Lee asked for photos first and then agreed - maybe because he liked the handle. I have heard of Rooneys rebristled by Shavemac but I don't think Lee rebristles much

The silver handle is not very heavy. It's thick silver sheet with ornaments, the core is hollow. I think it is in the ballpark of the B&B brush (but cannot compare because I don't have it anymore) - nice heft. "Tiring to whip up lather" - that's funny, thinking about the people over the world who toil for hours and still can't feed their families properly... I haven't felt tired using it but it may be too heavy for someone. I (used to) work out, you know
