A trick we use on board is to put a dab or two of rubber cement on the bottom. If it will keep a plate on the table while heeled 20 degrees it should keep the stand on a flat shelf.

Do you put it on your feet too, when trying to shave whilst heeled at 20 degrees?

Nahh, thats why sailors go barefoot. We use our prehensile toes to keep a good grip. It's when the angle of heel gets to 30 -40 degrees that we put rubber cement on our butts.

hey chef.
looks good, especially all filled up with those beautiful razors. you may try going to a craft store and looking at so felt squares. you can use spray on glue to adhere. otherwise, craft stores may have somme different options as rubberesque type footings.

Razor stand I found for 11$ at target
I am very happy this morning, I finally found a razor stand for my razors that did not cost me an arm,leg and left nut. I found this at target for under $11 each it the bath area for toothbrush holders, that is what it is and works great.
Now to look for a couple of brush stands. the hunt is on.....

Here's another one from target, only cost a coupla bucks, looks pretty classy. The base is ceramic, not plastic.

Yeah. That's what I'm using too. You just have to make sure the razor's good and dry so it doesn't end up sitting in a puddle. (and I have to make sure my toothbrush, which shares space, is good and dry too).
