That's a very nice scuttle. I'm going to order one in Hamada & Purple.

+1. I have been using the Hamada & Persimmon and could not be happier. Not inexpensive, but the workmanship is superb. And if one adds up the cost of all the less expensive bowls and make-do solutions we try to get warm lather, the price is not too bad. Especially since it is likely to be the last bowl you will buy.

I've been using both of mine (current generation) for a month and I just sold one of the two.
I think these are the BEST scuttle for folk who want to lather in the bowl and keep it warm.
The next generation will have a slightly different spout and be ~ 1/2 inch shorter. I think the lather bowl will be about as perfect as can be, then.

I've tried vintage styles of scuttle..VERY small for my big brushes. I have the mug warmer plate. Best I could do before the Georgetown Scuttle was floating my lather bowl in hot water.

Using the scuttle is soooo much better
