Yeah, I bought one and it is a tidy Kent one. I will say it's quite light though, so would probably benefit being stuck to the wall (mine came with a double sided stick pad for this purpose).

Some smart guys have said that the Capillary Action of the bristles wick away the moisture very effectively. I used to use a stand but now I just give 'em a strong shake into the shower stall to remove the excess water and stand them on their bases. No problems at all.

I have one brush and one brush only (actually it hasn't even arrived yet) and when I pay about $160 for it, I want to show it off proudly. Is a stand necessary? Debatable. Does it look cool? Definately. So I'm going to get a stand for it.

Now if I had more than one brush, I don't think I'd bother with a stand. I wouldn't be able to make the decision of which brush deserves a place on a stand and thus would feel like i needed a stand for ALL my brushes, if only so that none of them felt left out
