    worked very well for me, no complaints, and i've made two of 'em thus far. dewey has the third handle and will no doubt be using the same thing.

    i don't doubt that there are better adhesives, but this was the most appropriate one i had in my tool box at the time. a two-part adhesive was necessary, because there isn't air or uv down in the crevices of the brush to cure a single part compound.

    as to how tightly the knot should fit, my knot was 28 mm and the closest forstner bit I could dig up was 1-1/8", which is about 25/1000 inch too big, so there was a tiny bit of slop. this actually worked in my favor, as i did not seal the inside of the bore, so the jb weld squished up the sides of the hole and sealed it once the knot was pushed in.
