Although I don't have one myself (yet), I've heard nothing but good about them, and I would say you are pretty safe.
I've got a nice piece of amboynia burl I'm thinking of sending to him...

I justed shaved with Dan Capshaw brush today. The one that has been reviewed here.

I have one as well. I have used it every other day for the last few months, and it has shed a few hairs (but not more than 10 or so).
It's a 28mm knot best badger, made from cherry burl, and it's awesome.

Thanked: 3Dan Capshaw makes amazingly beatiful brushes! And at a fraction of the cost, it out performs many of my premium brushes!! To say I'm pleased with it is an understatement!!
My brush has a flexible 30mm knot with macassar ebony handle!... Looks classy but yet traditional.
