Default Best Place to get a Scuttle?

    Good Day!

I'm looking for a scuttle and was wondering where you all found yours. I've been looking on ebay and have not seen much that I like.

    Cheers!

Depending on how you'll use your scuttle, that should govern what you buy.

I also got mine from classic shaving. However I find I really only use it on a Saturday as most days I don't have the luxury of time to use it.

    Hey Rich,

Why do you use more time when using the scuttle?

    =)

I have the "monogrammed victorian shaving scuttle" When I use it I boil water (takes some time) then put it into the scuttle and then put the brush in. Then I will work the brush over the soap till I am content with lather and then on the face and shave. On a daily basis I just fill up the basin with hot tap water while I shower come out work up later on face and shave. I will admit the hot lather feels pretty good but I am not a morning person and 4 people with one bathroom well need I say more....
There is also the time cleaning the scuttle before putting it back on the shelf.

I think the main ones guys use like dirtybird and GP and Moss can be had from the makers. They all have websites.

I got mine from Georgetown Pottery which is what people are talking about when they say a GP scuttle. First link is their website...second is a picture of mine.
