    Mostly I found the difference in fullness and a bit softer.

    I used to use a boars hair. It felt fine while it was all I had. Then I bought a Parker 100% Badger after coming here and learning what I have been missing. I love the Bagder and have not returned to the boars hair. I will be looking for a silvertip next.

    Good array of Rooney brushes are available. I really enjoy my 1/1 silvertip (small). Price is around $65. Sold by advertisers on this site.
