sounds like you got a dud. hopefully you'll be able to get ahold of a better one so that you can have the same good experience the rest of us have had.

Tony from golden nib is handling the situation with grace and offered me a replacement of the same or different size. I think I'll go with the 28mm or 24mm silvertip. Thank you for your support gentlemen!
