Another Custom Silvertip in Claro Walnut
Ok, here is my second non-turned brush design... in my favorite (claro walnut with quilted maple). the figure on this piece was incredible... I really lucked out.
Claro w/ quilted maple... tung oil finished with about five coats of hand rubbed beeswax (oh so smooth).
This one has a thumb groove, and a curved profile that really fits perfectly in the hand. Also, this one has kind of a sweet slope to it in the part closest to the knot.. fits the first knuckle perfectly. I have included lots of pics because last time people asked for "in hand" pics... please tell me what you think.

100% honest, if you take custom orders let me know. I LOVE these handles.
Can you make a bigger one? For, say, a 28mm boar knot?

Wow nicely done. I hope you don't get mad if I copy a little of your design. I want to do another brush. I really dig the 3 piece design. I don't think I have the skills to make the contoured handle but I do love the different wood contrast. Once again that one and your other one are great. What size is the knot and is it a Golden knib?

I may be able to do some of these soon (I always have claro walnut on hand) and I wouldn't mind doing them in different sizes. If you have a source for a 28mm boar knot it may be possible. send me a a PM and we can talk more. I do this in my spare time, but for someone who wouldn't need it right away (give me some flexibility) I could probably do something.
Copy away! The knot on this one is a 22mm and it is from Golden nib. (as a side note, my other 26mm brush has stopped shedding completely and is a lather machine, this knot seems to have very little desire to shed... seems to be great quality for the money.

It looks great Del1r1um!
I like this one even better then the previous.. my golden nib knot loses some hairs but not a lot.. I really love it.. its is so much nicer than the boar brush I was using..
Thanks for the inspiration..though it really doesn't look like your brushes at all you got me to make my own brush.

mainly after week 1, completely after 2 1/2 weeks... after week 1 I tried to speed up the process too by brushing the crap out of it on my hand... it got out lots of those stragglers, now it's pretty solid. (this new 22mm one has not been used yet though... maybe tonight!)
