    I love wood. I've been angry that I can't find a decent piece of Thuya burl at my local exotic wood supplier.

    That bowl is nothing but pure-D gorgeous! Bet it would look great with a similarly handled brush.

    I use a ceramic bowl with a lid that came with my basin and jug set. I make the lather in a pottery bowl I got at the local markets. I do like the bowl my Crabtree and Evelyne soap came in too, though...
    I even like the Proraso bowl; it's a great choice for camping, it's light and you can use the lid to make the lather in, and the lid fits nice and tight. I find Proraso is a nice strong scent for camping trips too, it can hide some smell if you haven't been able to shower properly!

    since a few people asked...the thuya wood bowl above cost me $27 shipped (i'm in the usa).
