    Default Need a new Brush

    Hi,
i'm looking to buy a new brush cause my old one is, well old to say the least and balding to be precise...i'm in the need for a new brush and i want it to be a large one and badger...doesn't need to be those spiffy sparkling silvertipped chrome plated and then gold plated bling bling brushes but it has to be a good one...
i've seen those several for better prices than you can find 'm here in belgium but the shipping cost is outrageous most of the time...
anybody knows a good euro site or a site with fair shipping prices?

From what I've seen over at Badger and Blade, Shavemac (Germany I believe) brushes tend to get very good reviews. Not sure what price range you're looking for but their basic pure badger brushes go for about 47 euros and their finest badger for about 57 euros.

There's also Vintage Scent out of either Spain or Portugal (not sure which). They have also received great customer service reviews over at Badger and Blade and they carry a ton of Semogue boar and badger brushes for between 8 euro and 62.

Those are the only two I know of out of Europe aside from the usual big boys (Simpson, Rooney, etc).

Hope this helps you find what you're looking for. Best of luck in your brush hunt.

I've heard good things about Shavemac brushes... And I know the 2015 Semogue from vintagescent is good, even better is the 2015 HD (High Density)

The two that come to mind are a Shavemac and Vulfix. If you want to spend a little more to get more, then Shavemac may be able to accomodate you better.

I have a Vulfix Badger brush that cost about $55-$60 and I have been very, very pleased with its performance. Someday, I am going to spring for a nice Shavemac that has some Bells and Whistles.
