    Default Got my new Scuttle!!!

So after many months of debate on what scuttle to get, i settled on the dirtybird 1.5 size scuttle. Reason being because ive heard mixed reviews on the georgetown (i will buy one later when i gets some more money ) i wanted something a little bigger, and thus the dirtybird, the only downside was i dint really care for the colors they had that is until i did a search on google and found a pic of a greenish glazed dirtybird from a person on B and B . I asked Julie and she said i was in luck and she had enough "mystery glaze" for a couple peices. Well it came in the mail today and it is more beautiful then the pictures make it, and it seems to be the perfect size, im so glad i went with the bigger size. Tomorrow i have a job interview so i haven't shaved for 3 days so i could shave day of, and i am going to try it out. I will post if the heat holds up. YAY!

Looks good! If I were a scuttle collector I'd probably get one, however my G5 is plenty for me. The only things I see that the G5 has and this does not is a stopper for the water reservoir to keep the heat from escaping out the spout and the G5 also has a rim on the top of the bowl that holds the lather in. However this guy looks a lot larger than the G5, so I have no doubt it'll be a great product. Let us know how it holds up!

I have the regular size Dirty Bird and couldn't be happier with it. The glaze on this one is very pretty though. First time I've seen that particular glaze.

Thanks! yeah like i said i found it on a whim. just googled it and found out it was a mystery glaze option that isnt on the site you just have to ask her. Apparently its just the leftovers of all the colors combined

Does the G5 have a larger reservoir than the previous models? I sold my (I believe G3) Georgetown to buy a DB for the larger hot water capacity. I also bought the DB brush scuttle, but since I've started doing the cold water shave, they are just sitting in the closet.

To the OP, that's a beautiful scuttle, and I wish I would've had Julie make mine with the ribs like that instead of the default swirl pattern. I really don't see how the swirl helps to build lather any better than if it was just smooth.

Amazing! Do you think they would ship to Kanada? I kinda want one

So at that size they are made to lather in the bowl right? unlike the moss..

Im pretty sure she will ship to canada , dont know how much it would be, and yes there is plenty of room to lather in and it holds an abundance of water in the reservoir for sure!
