What's your favorite method to clean your brush? Also is it a routine practice for you?

I find as long as I thoroughly clean-rinse my brushes after every use they don't retain any smell from the soaps and there are no built up deposits on them and they function great. Once a year just for GPs I soak them in Borax. Yes after that they feel great, so nice and soft but other than that they work the same. I've always felt the soap you use and the consistancy coupled with water quality can really do in a brush pronto.
