if anyone has a wee scot they don't want anymore.. send it my way..

I don't have a Wee Scott, but do have a few other badger brushes that are currently not being used. I'd be willing to send one your way if you're without a usable brush after this unfortunate incident... If that's the case, just PM me.

    Great offer, LegalBeagle.

Another thought: What about taking the remains of the knot out, and then reknotting it with a TGN? You could probably put in a better knot, and keep the handle you love... Just figured I'd suggest it.

    Sorry to hear about this

    Good idea Shaved Zombie

If the parents can afford a live in nanny, then should be able to pony up 40 bucks for another Wee Scott

It seems like I saw a lock like you would put on a jewery box at Lowes.
Look on the hardware Isle. They sell small brass hinges and other parts for making or repairing small boxes.

    +1 on the lock box.
You have kids in your charge and sharp blades. Get a lockable kit box.
Not one of those Kmart things... that seven and eight year old kids
    learn to pick.

    Victor,
Sorry it has taken me so long to jump in here. I had to make sure that I could find my Wee Scot. It's so......Wee that I wasn't sure where it was.

Anyway, I don't use it so if you send me your address, its yours.

It's hard to get mad at really young kids......but sometimes........well, they make it easier.

Reading about this has reminded me of when I was a small child of 2 or 3 years old. I was intrigued with dad shaveing, so I watched him shave all the time. I was especialy interested in him replacing blades.
So one day I climbed up to the medicine cabnet and pull out his blades and took one out of the holder. The next thing I knew I was dripping blood all over and did not feel any pain.
Man I don't know how they kept up with me I would get out of the house at 18 months old.
Dad put one of those hooks on the door up high and turned to me and said. Ok you little turd lets see you get out now. I tuned and took a look at the broom and thought I bet I can unhook that with the broom handle.

So with that being said a good lock will help keep things safe for a while anyway.

The kids are interested in everything you do because they are so close to you. They look up to you and love you because you are always there for them.

    Best wishes

Could be worse, at least they didn't find your razor and trim anything off themselves.

+1 for saving the handle and restoring the brush. I'm not sure if TGN sells a knot that small, though. You might be able to reduce the smallest knot they do sell? Anyway, save the handle. If you don't want it, I bet some restorer would think it was a cool score.
