while i havent used their brush I recently purchased some of their "Shave Butter Shave Cream" to give it a try. It has a strange scent (couldn't pinpoint it). It created a sub-par lather as compared to Proraso (C.O. Bigelow, purchasable at Bath and Body Works). So far on my budget search for soaps and creams (no more than 5$ per soap or cream). The best lather and shave i have gotten is from the Proraso cream and Von Der Hagen Soap (they make a great uberlather together also.

its def worth a try though

    Default Gotta Love Target

    Gentlemen:

I have seen this product at Walmart as well. The brush appears to be a good buy — nice and inexpensive. I have not tried their soap, but I either read somewhere or was told by an experienced wet shaver that it produces anemic lather.

That is a nice brush. I am going to go to Target this weekend if the wife will let me get away from the honeydo list she has for me. Gotta try that one.

I got their shave cream today at walmart.
It was not so hot when I lathered it alone, but when I uberlathered it with a SRD soap I got very good results.
It wasn't quite the texture of normal uberlather, and little more lotion like, but still nice and thick.
It did a OK job that way.

One thing I will say about that cream, my face felt super soft after, I didn't even need and aftershave.

And I might go pick that brush up for my girlfriend to learn with, glad to hear the brush works so well. =]

This brush sounds like a great buy--especially for newbie shavers who are on a limited budget when creating their first shaving kit. Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure I got the cream as well, it says "Shea Shave Butter" or some such right? I agree with the comment on the smoothness and lather. Actually I got no lather to speak of, not just bad. I also felt that the blade kind of suctioned against my face and was expecting a terrible shave. I was wrong I liked the finished results and my face was ultra smooth and soft. No need for any after products. I think the smell is somewhere around Neutrogena mixed with orange. Cheap enough to justify buying just to have, and I might get that brush too.

What if you throw a little Raisin Bran in?
