Hey everybody, thanks for all the tips, posts, and suggestions.
The Polo 8 came yesterday. I CAN NOT believe I waited so long (YEARS!) to get a top notch brush. The difference was AMAZING!
Lathered up some BayRum Bomb this morning, and it was like a soft face massage. Firm enough, but so niiiiiiiiice.
Almost can't wait to try it out on some Castle Forbes Lime tomorrow!!!

I used some Calypso this morn too. When you look for another brush, and you will, don't forget the Semogue brushes from Leon. I received a boar and badger from VIntage Scent two weeks ago and they are very nice. Great workmanship. Ray G and some of the guys did a review on them, that's why I chose to try them out.

Actually this was the original bay rum. My calypso is in teh mail as we speak!!
I can totally see BAD kicking in. Now I want to know all the varieties, just like I did when I started out with a 5/8 full hollow and my collection exploded because I wanted to try everything. I think I've figured out my favorites, though. I like sharp razors. With cream. Or soap. And aftershave. Oh, and a good brush.

Ray, thanks for the very kind offer. I can just see it though...
You: knock knock knock....."Josh, you OK in there? Been in there three hours, buddy...."
Me: Uh, yeah, I'm OK....call my wife....tell her I'm almost through the first test of silvertip, only have three more brands and two more levels of badger to test. I'll be home tuesday.
As it is, I've been experimenting with the new brush...now I see what you guys mean by "lather hog!!" That thing holds two shaves worth for itself!
I'm actually ahving some trouble building lather, and need to re-learn certain elements.

Don't worry. I don't have nearly that many brushes.
