    Very nice, i did turned ivory a couple of times very slowly!!!!!!!! i did use ebony and ivory ( real elephant tusk) for the brush you see
    next to my name but that only an insert but the contrast with both natural materials is stunning! made a few of them and they sell
    very good as well!!! now i need to find a bunch of victorian era billiard balls!!!

    Beautiful work! I've made bottle stoppers out of black & white ebony and didn't find it all that hard to work with. If you don't mind my asking, did you just epoxy the two together or did you use a mortise & tenon with the glue?
    And did you make the pipe as well. That is also great looking.

    There is a tenon of roughened stainless tube, in addition to epoxy. I don't remember which pipe is in the pic, but I made it. Thanks!
