    As for finish, first of all I sand it down with 120-240-500-1000 grit sandpaper. After that I did polish it with aluminia oxide and sealing with CCL Handle Oil. In the end I put 8 layers of Carnauba Wax.
    The knot is TGN.

    I really do not know what you are doing wrong if you do something wrong.
    In my oppinion everything depends of the wood structure. I did not do anything special just put the blank in the lathe and turn the handle. After finishning it looks like that.
