    Default My first custom made brush

    15 days ago I decided to make my own custom brush (named King brush). I ordered Cocobolo wood and silvertip 24x67 mm knot. The final result is down on the photo:

    I am just not a fan of wood. But that is a beautiful brush. Well done sir.

    Very nice. Like the grain in that wood. What did you use to finish it? And where do you buy the knots? I have a wood lathe and was thinking abou giving it a try.

    Looks real nice. That is a tall knot. I'm guessing you don't have to go around a moustache.

    looks great, every time i try to turn a handle the grain never ends up looking good like that, i dont know what im doing wrong.
