Anyone ever do this? I like my badger brush; but it's soft and 'splayed', that's OK, but not on soap and not for face lathering, I find. My cheap 'supermarket' boar's hair brush is better for that. I thought of this idea; 'tying' the hairs together with a rubber 'O' ring to give a tighter bundle. Am I over thinking this? I'll give it a go tomorrow morning with Proraso in a mortar bowl; and then with Windsor soap in a scuttle...
