I got an email from Thäter today that everything seems to be going well. They finished the brush heads and will be woking on the brush handles this next coming week. Laser etching and packaging are last. If all goes well they feel confident shipping out the brushes to us in the US somewhere between the first and second week of November. Add whatever time it's in transit from Germany + a few days to get everything organized and the brushes will be on their way to their owners.
Remember that these are shipping to the USA from Germany and will have to go through customs. I'm sure Max will let us know as soon as he has them.

Thanks again to everyone involved for making this happen!

I'm just imagining the customs official opening the box and to inspect it and wondering what kind of twisted person is buying that much badger hair.

Also, everything Max gave us was a production estimate, so nothing is hard and fast here. After they arrive, Max has to sort, box, and mail them. I'm thinking it'll be the first week of December before we see'em.

I had resolved to hand it over to the Wifey to give me on Christmas! (without ever opening it?)
I guess the old brush will last til then!

Maybe it can be gift-wrapped and delayed to delivery on Christmas... adds to the excitement.

That's odd, you were making such fun of him about it on the phone...
