Oh man, now the hard part, knowing they are on the way and I have to wait. Thanks for all the work.

Thanked: 2No offence meant but it is just a shaving brush, albeit a pricier one than the norm. I bought one too but I am not feeling any anxiety over it.
The more fuss that is made will only cause a bigger sense of let down when they are used by some, so relax. Many who bought them will like them, others will not. That's life - buyer's remorse is a real state of mind and many will find themselves in that state. Relax.
It is just a shaving brush.

One of the unique things about SRP that I truly enjoy is the sharing of our Passion for not just wet shaving, but life in general. There is a true sense of Carpe diem, suck the marrow out of life, etc. I understand that it can seem a bit much, yet I think sometimes as adults we lose the child like joy that comes from some of life's simplest joys (like receiving a new "toy"). In a way, I feel that the excited posts full of "anxiety" are just a way of expressing gratitude for the arrangers of this special buy, and sharing their excitement with those who are likely also full of anticipation.
You are also correct that some people will not like the brush (though given the choices, I'd put the number very, very low) or will not like as much as something else. The price charged was under market value and will still lend itself to a nice price should they choose to put it in the classifieds. Judging by the number of "I can't believe I missed this" posts, there is an obvious market for this.
I hope you enjoy the brush as much as I know I will enjoy mine. Here's to many happy shaves, and remember Carpe Diem.

Thanked: 2I am sure that I will like the Thater fan I ordered. I have only used Simpson fans for the last 40 years. I prefer face lathering so I like a firmer bristle. I find that the Duke2 in Pure Badger suits me fine. I have a Best as well but it seems better with making bowl lather and I suspect the Thater fan will be the same.
As for whether we know each other, is that a KTM SuperMoto in your avatar? I have had one for 12 years now. Are you a certain scuttle maker from Texas?
Regards to all,
Dan

A 40 year simpson man, eh? No wonder you are not so worked up! Me, I am a 10 year walgreens boar guy, so I am understandably looking forward to this Thater a wee bit more! No scuttles and Not a Katoom, but a Husqvarna 250 GP! No pavement for me! Good luck, Tom

"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
