Checked the tracking info just now, and it also shows a Saturday delivery. Between LSU/GA in the SEC Championship game and watching for the mail, I'll be busy!
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I hope I don't get too many flames for this.
Can anyone give me direction on breaking this brush in? Does it really need to be broken in? I've read a few wikis and a lot of the information I'm seeing is opinion/faith based, there's very little empirical information. I want this brush to last me as long as it can. People still argue with me about breaking in cell phone batteries, I can't tell you how many times I hear "There is no more memory issue", etc...I broke my Droid battery in over the course of a month and here I am 2 years later and I still have the original battery and it still lasts 3 days between charges..so I'm a believer in doing some work up front in order to get a longer lifetime.

I usually do a quick shampoo wash/rinse the first time to get any musky badger smell out if any. But besides that. Nothing has to be done except use and enjoy it. It will start to bloom after a few uses.

A new brush will have a musky smell, do not worry. Max's suggestion is perfect, wash it in warm, not hot water and rinse it out. After a couple of times you use it to shave it will become perfect. What ever you do DO NOT put it into Hot Water. Good luck!!!
