yea this thing is pointless.. i went to nordstrom and the lady said it was for a deeper lather.. she asked if i wanted one.. i was like I'd rather spend $125 on a 30mm silver tip badger brush.. she was looking at me like she didnt know what i was talking about.. SMH Art of shaving.. WHAT A GIMMICK!! their products are OK but OVER PRICED.

P.S. How can AOS justify selling an electric cartridge razor for 175.. when they sell the same thing at walmart for like 10.. -.-

The Art of Shaving= The Art of Screwing you....at least that's what I noticed by visiting their sight and seeing their prices.
$45 for a disposable blade straight razor. I saw the same thing on Amazon sight for $3.89, but it didn't have The Art of Shaving logo.

I have only ever bought two things from there: Lavender shave cream, and Sandalwood shave cream. $15 a pop or something, but it's a pretty decent cream. I shaved with it this morning and got a great shave, though I'm starting to feel the blade and technique is more important than the soap/prep work. I've gotten a nice shave off of a bar of soap (the kind you use in the shower) in a pinch.

There is some comparison to women's vibrators here, but I can't quite identify it... Maybe I just like lathering too much.

I like the AOS creams also. I pay about 18 bucks for the tub. I saw the vibrating brush and it was kinda cool. It was pretty dang heavy and I don't think it moves enough to make the cream lather. I think you get stuck using a pretty heavy brush to make cream and then you can use the vibrator on your face. Seems kind of pointless to be honest.

Like I've said before, I want one only if it's powered by this:

But, I fail to see what it has on this:
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

Yet another reason I don't really care for AOS.
