i've got the semogue le 11 size 1 and it is the closest thing to my rooney finests (1/1 - 3/2 - 1/2). it has nearly the same face feel with a little scritch to it. My thäter srp 11 fan feels totally different it nearly doesnt have any scritch. For me the knot could be placed a little deeper because i really love stiff brushes like my finest 1/1. (this was too stiff for jimmyhad
).
Also my rooney heritage 2xl has more backbone and is lots stiffer due the shorter loft. The thäter is a great brush. But i think i have to use it little more because the first attempt didnt make my prefered lather.

I love the way Thäter shapes their bulbs and how they nicely bloom. It's so cute you just want to cuddle with it.

Absolutely love mine, it just seems to get fluffier & fluffier. Not really a complaint, but if I were to change one thing about it woudl be making the handle a bit longer. Maybe I'm making too much lather...

I've been informed that mine is a Christmas present for which I'll have to wait. I am thoroughly impressed by the whole package, though. Lucky for me, I still have the prototype to hold me over until then. I'm getting the fan; my brother gets the bulb

My Plisson HMW got into a fight with the Thater initially. I guess it thought it was being upstaged. They get along fine now. Mixed in with all the classic two banders you can barely tell a difference with the new Thater. Yes, it's that good.

Really surprised with my fan. I new it was going to be a quality brush...I didn't know it'd turn into my premier brush.
It has however, been getting less attention than my other brushes for the past few days, I've been going over my others to decide which ones to sell!

So used the Bulb this afternoon!! WOW!! what a great brush! Whipped up some CF lime in my G5 scuttle and the tips felt like a cloud on my face. Got both a fan and a bulb from the classified and think I'm gonna save using the fan till the holiday. And break in my new DD goldedge!
