    Both the length of bristle and the density of the bristle pack. Nothing better than a nice, tightly packed brush with long bristles!

    I have this one too.

    In my book it is a bit floppy, but my favorite is a Burma Shave boar so obviously there are personal preference differences. I also think the knot on my seems to be 23 tops. Gorgeous bloom, no smell at all.

    Having said this, it makes mucho lather with both soaps and creams, and feels quite luxurious. Using it is a pleasure.
