Help, it's about to fall off
No not that, I'm talking about my shaving brush.
I noticed the puck on my Thater kind of knocks around when I use it and there is a little movement there but it doesn't spin around and you can't pull it out so the question is what do I do?
Should I really work at yanking it out and reset it back in place or just wait and see if it gets worse or just live with it the way it is?

I had a plisson like that. The knot would get loose in the handle when I didn't use it for awhile. That one would tighten up once I got it wet and the knot would swell up again. The knot fell completely out of my 40 year old Hoffritz brush and I used silicone to glue it back in. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get the knot out. It would be hard to glue without getting residue/excess on the bristles where they meet the handle.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Play with it like it was a loose tooth, gently.

Thanked: 20This just came to mind - I don't know if I like the idea or if I would do it, but-
You could let the brush dry out and then tightly wrap the bristles with tape, as close to the handle as possible. If this compresses the bristles well enough, you could try to bend the whole deal away from the inside edge of the handle (where it is set into the handle) and use a toothpick or coffee stirer to push epoxy into the space.
Don't know if my description matches what I am thinking, and like I said - I don't know if I like the idea - but it came to mind
good luck either way

Personally, I'd call and send it back to Thater and request repair or replacement. I don't know what their policy is, but most high quality manufacturers offer 'lifetime warrantee' even if not stated.

Thanked: 1371Try Rogaine. That's supposed to be good at preventing hair loss.
