    Tyler,
The Dirty Bird 1.5 is a massive scuttle. And it is sweet. The standard swirls are plenty for making luxurious lather. The original is smaller and still a lovely scuttle. Julie makes good stuff.

To the O.P.: Originally Ms. Julie Moore made scuttles with only the swirl pattern. Then a member here on SRP asked her to make one with a web design in the bowl. That's where the different patterns came from. They both will perform equally well. What you're buying is a functional piece of art, so choose whichever pattern pleases your eye.
    Namaste,
    Morty -_-
Oh you beat me to it. SCAD?

I enquired about the double and found out that it's as big as a soccer ball and was difficult to glaze so I went with the 1.5 with web like ridges We will have to compare notes after we try ours out! If I'm not mistaken either bowl pattern has that rim at the top to prevent lather from escaping which happens to me with the stainless bowl I'm using now. No lather c'mon now don't run away lets be friends! I just want to put you on my face and cut you off with a straight razor muahahahaha

I'm telling you boys, you should consider calling Julie and have her add a dribble port to your scuttle. It's sweet! I love being able to just tip my scuttle a bit and allow hot water from the pot to enter the lather bowl to juice up the froth a bit!

Hey guys, I forgot to mention, I also have Julie's travel scuttle. It also has the spiral pattern and a dribble port. It's pretty sweet. It packs well too!

The O.P. said he accidentally posted this thread in this section. Perhaps one of the moderators can move this thread to where it belongs?
