    Default Dirty bird

Is there a difference between the regular lines on the dirty bird scuttle or does the web design bowl for lather make a difference

I went with the traditional swirl because I liked the way it looked over the webs. It builds a killer lather.

Sorry I can't really answer your question, but the swirls will make you very happy.

I also owned a Dirty Bird with the ridges only, I assume the web pattern would perform similarly.

Hey Tyler, I have a DB 1.5 with the swirl pattern. I love it. I use my 24mm knot badger brush and there is plenty of room to make a ton of warm lather. The thing is great! I had Julie add a dribble port to mine. The dribble port works awesome. You can't go wrong with a DB. I also have the Travel Scuttle.

Any opinions on the original scuttle vs the brush scuttle? I do my lather then I get in the shower wondering which would work best keeping the brush warm or the lather... hummmm.....

Uh-oh, looks like a case of Scuttle Acquisition Disorder coming on! ;-)

To the O.P.: Originally Ms. Julie Moore made scuttles with only the swirl pattern. Then a member here on SRP asked her to make one with a web design in the bowl. That's where the different patterns came from. They both will perform equally well. What you're buying is a functional piece of art, so choose whichever pattern pleases your eye.
    Namaste,
    Morty -_-
