Thread: Brush suggestions

Well I have been looking around for a brush for a while now but really can't make up my mind!

I currently have a Tweezerman brush and I really do like it but I want something a little nicer... The tweezerman is a really nice size but I want something a little bigger. I read somewhere the tweezerman is a 19mm knot. Anyone know if this is true? I think a 20-22mm knot would be perfect!

My budget is about $60... any thoughts for the best bang for buck brush?

At your budget you could get a nice Best Badger brush. That would be my recommendation. Check our vendors and you should be able to get a name brand brush.

You can get a Frank Shaving, 22mm knot and a 52 loft, for about $35. I have two, and they're not the best brushes in the world, but bang for buck....they're pretty darn good.

If you want to set your own, I suggest going to The Golden Nib, and selecting a handle and a knot, and putting them together when they get to your house. It's not that hard, and it's cost effective.

Hey Dylan, I'd look at the knots you can buy from The Golden Nib. I purchased their top of the line badger, called Super Silver Tip Badger Knot, for $33 in 24mm. Then I bought their resin handle for,I think ,$22. Add some 30 minute epoxy and you have a sweet brush. I love mine. Take a look, I think you'll like what you see on their web-site.
