Thanked: 983The black on black is for a project I have in mind. I want to put together an all black kit. I'm also going to pick up (or modify a current) razor and cold blue the blade. The scales will also be black. The only issue I can see with all this is how I am going to get shaving cream to foam as anything other than white . Food colouring perhaps...All part of the fun anyway.
Thanks for all the comments and advice so far. I look forward to having another go at turning a brush handle...I was thinking of even trying to make it look like a coopered barrel next time around since Dawson put the idea into my head. It'll mean I'll need to carve in some lines to look like the planks and I want to tack on some thin metal strips around the body as well, just to complete the look. This one I think should also be made of Oak.

Mick, PM me before you start the next one. I know of the perfect material for your barrel brush.
This one looks great!

That little black badger's family would be proud, knowing their loved one turned out looking so good.
