My main brush is the 21 m.m. Muhle I love this brush and use it 85% of the time. Its on the soft side so I prefer to use it mostly with creams but works ok with soaps as well. I also have an Omega mini brush I think it measures around 19 m.m. that brush is extreamly soft a real floor mop if you will, and is a sole cream brush. I'm sure other models will have different charactieristics and other members could discribe theres to you.

I have had no experience with the Muhle's but I do have an Omega and love it. It is my main brush for creams. My rule of thumb is to keep the soft brushes for the creams and the low end badger/boar for the soaps.
