Vie-Long horse hair. It works gang busters on hard soap.

Used my Vulfix 660S med super badger brush, virtually the only brush I use when home. I like it for it's softness on the face and ability to whip up an uber lather. I have no hard soaps, except Williams, and it works well with them all be it mug or face lathering. It was not hugely expensive either and so far I see no need to acquire more brushes. Just does the job.

my very well worn in Omega 10098 boar brush, lathers like crazy and holds water like nothing I've used before, its also super soft with some nice backbone and works wonders with mwf and face lathering.

    regards alex

AOS Badger, great for face lathering, slightly, but perfectly scritchy.

Omega Pro. I find boar brushes very nostalgic and they work great. I've spent close to 40 years shaving with boars, its just the last year or so I started using badgers. Love that big old Omega.

Today was with Morris & Fordran 2 band large. For my hand too small but nice performance and real nice brush. Tips like the Plissons not that soft as the Thater but real nice brush. I recommended.

    thanks

    Semogue Owners Club Premium Boar.

Used it because it's the one I reach for the most out of my small collection. Love it.

Used the Thater 26mm fan with Proraso soap, it whooped up a great lather...lol. Cool and smooth, with those unbelievably soft tips, a little slice of heaven...
