Thanked: 220Scuttle vs Mug
Hi everyone!
I just recieved this scuttle from Straight Razor Designs, and I'm wondering why I didn't get one of these a long time ago! This scuttle works great, I sure enjoy having hot cream for the entire shave. It also rinses clean a lot easier than my previous mug. I'll have to find another use for the old mug, as I'll probably never use it again! What do you guys who own both a scuttle & a mug prefer?

Thanked: 194I owned quite a few. I started with a dirty bird, then went to a moss, and I have finally settled on a g-20 from georgetown. I love it just as much as you do. I still use a bowl once in a while when I don't have time to bring out the scuttle and such. But it sure does keep my lather hot for a 3+ pass shave. enjoy it

Thanked: 30I will have to chime in, in a few weeks. My Becker scuttle is on its way here as we speak. I definitely think (no experience) a scuttle will be great for winter.

I used a mug for years... I would just fill the sink with hot water and put the mug in it... I picked up a Georgetown G-5 and like it a lot better than a mug. I now use the mug to just hold the soap (mfws) and load the brush, thhen I use the scuttle for mixing.

Thanked: 15Well:
I've owned some mug's I just eliminate them. After a loooong time looking to get a nice scuttle I purchased a Moss from Sara. I have to say that I got impress by the scuttle. I will never ever change the scuttle with a mug again. The scuttle works great. No way on my end to return to a mug for the rest of my life.
thanks
K
