I've asked Matt to work on one for me as well. I am really favoring the stiffer badger these days vs. the bristles that are more mop like with lather. I do find that a lighter touch with the less stiff bristles helps a lot. Bought me a Moss Scuttle for Xmas as well.....hahahahaha

    Lynn,

Do you mean taking the bristles from, say, a Chubby Super 2, and getting them in a handle by Matt!

By the way, I find the Moss scuttle (large) a tad small for the lather mountains I like to whip.

    Cheers

I picked up a best badger brush from Matt not to long ago off of ebay. It's really superfine. I'm not sure how to post a pic of it in this post. But I do not see how you can go wrong with one of his brushes.

I went with 24mm silvertip to name-match the inlay. It should be done any time now

I picked up the SMF I do belong to both but haven’t spent very much time at B&B. I have two of Matt’s brushes and plan on adding at lest one more.

well... there are 2 (actually 4) brushes you can pick up from B&B

I'll go with Finest... I don't shave every day and am rarely in a hurry so the ultra-lux does not scare me...

    Actually....
there are 8 versions of the B&B brush, depending on whether you want the label printed to read when the brush is hanging or if it is on its base.
I have the SMF III already and love it, perhaps even better than the I and II (which I also have). It is a huge brush.
Will be buying a B&B brush as well if possible, perhaps 2, but that remains to be seen.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one, and at the massive discounts they are both being offered at, why not get both.

I have just unwrapped my SMF brush which arrived 5 mins ago. Not bad posted on 12/28 from England and arrived here in Oz 1/2 pretty good flying.

The brush is very nice by the way, actually its stunning compared to my old brush. I wish I could post pictures of old and new.

For what its worth I will also be ordering the B&B brush in finest, I don't think we will see these types of offers come up on premium brushes like these too often, and by my reckoning with these two brushes, it should just about see my days out.
