I have about 7 brushes and to tell you the truth I couldn't pick a top anything. They all perform great. Maybe my custom brush with the Elephant ivory handle I wouldn't include because it's just too floppy for me. It's more a showpiece.

    Chubby 1 two-band

I only use five brushes, so this one's pretty easy:

    Thäter 49125/0
    Vie Long 12705 horse hair
    New Forest two-band
    Small Plisson pure
    Semogue 1460

    Pretty much in that order.

I don't even own 5 brushes. My go to brush is a Dubl Duck Boar with original knot. I have a couple other vintage brushes, but they are waiting for new knots. I have been seriously thinking about trying one of those Semogue brushes though.

    1. New Forest Tubby 2 -signed
    2. Kent BKL12

God I miss my brushes. Time to start collecting again!
