    Default My New Thater

After looking at the Thaters for over 6 months, I finally pulled the trigger. I have used it twice now and I can't believe the lather that it builds. I have been SR shaving for 11 months now and until yesterday I had never gotten lather like this before. I didn't do anything different but man did I get different (better) results...

This is a comparison of my Simpson Beaufort 4 Pure Badger and my New Thater (look at the density)

This is a comparison of the two of them wet (after flicking the water out so that they aren't dripping).

I knew that the Thater would hold more water and that it would be softer but I didn't think that the lather would be so much better!

My opinion is that they live up to the hype!

Glad you decided to pull the trigger on the Thater, i love mine. They are such great brushes and do a fine job of building lather. And it looks great

Gentlemen, I own four Thater silver tip brushes and love everyone. Good backbone without being excessive. Soft tips like an angel's kiss. Large or small, they hold a big cloud of luxurious lather. The daily shave is a pleasure with these superb brushes.

Congratulations on a great buy. Thaters are incredibly soft brushes yet good backbone.

Awesome. I've been itching to pull the trigger on one lately as well, so I have a love/hate relationship with posts like these!
