You can see same brush with a new knot (horse) on the Crome stand with the safety razor! Also the handle was polish with MAAS (I think). Yours looks like it could luster up like mine! Double O

Well considering its been 20 years since I saw it last. Just glad it didn't get lost when we moved.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

I have a C40 that I reknotted with a TGN two band extra and it's my go-to. I cut out the old knot, drilled out the old glue and such, then used fishing weights in the hollow handle to add extra weight before filling with epoxy and setting the new knot. It turned out looking like a brand new brush once polished up a little.

Glad you found your brush. My grandfather's disappeared after my grandmother died and it still bothers me that I never could find it (or his 3 straights)

That's why I've been looking over ebay for a cheap but good old brush. That's exactly what I'm looking to do.

What did you do to drill out the old glue without harming the body of the brush?

Small update. I have it soaking to soften it a bit. It may be the brush I use on Wednesday as the travel brush I ordered and had sent to the parents house may come in a day late for my weekly update for Movember.
