    Default Revere Silversmiths Sterling brush

I have had this brush for a while and decided to reknot it in order to use it on occasion. I found it would only accomodate a 20mm knot, so I sprung for the Grade A silvertip from TGN. After relieving the handle from it's old knot, I was able to gently tap out a big dent in the handle's bottom and get it done. This knot has extra hair packed in and really performs great and big, despite the smaller base.

    What an elegant set Tom.
Getting some new hair will give that brush another 100 years.

Beautiful work! You make it sound like a walk in the park: "After relieving the handle from it's old knot, I was able to gently tap out a big dent in the handle's bottom and get it done." You did in deed get it done and a very fine job of it at that. Thank you for sharing.

Maybe Paul used it to shave with before his ride.
