Thanked: 220Brush Storage For Travel?
Hi everyone,
Does anybody have any ideas for a simple way to store a brush while traveling? I'm at work in a motel & when I arrived, my brush (which was in a leather shaving kit) was all deformed out of shape due to all of the other items in the kit falling on top of it. It's too bad I didn't keep the original box. Any solutions? I'd sure hate to have to leave my brush at home & resort to the canned stuff!

Thanked: 3225Go to a pharmacy and ask for a perscrition bottle that will fit your brush. They usually will give you one. You can punch some holes in the lid for ventilation.

Really any kind of a tube that is made of a material that won't absorb the moisture would fit the bill. Just use your imagination.

I've heard some members in

cat treat cans.

Thanked: 10If you travel a lot the Edwin Jagger travel brush might be a good investment. Also the RX bottle is a great idea to.

I like the idea of a Rx bottle. That would work, and would be pretty easy to get. You could also pick up a small piece of pvc pipe, cut it to size and get a couple of caps, if your so inclined. It comes in many different diameters. I have lot's of it laying around my garage, just a thought.
I have an electric shaver, yup, that's right I said it. The last time I traveled, I brought it. It does good, It's no straight, but it does good. I just don't like lugging all that stuff around with me.
P.S. I just googled "Shave Brush Container" Simpson makes them.
I think the place is called "Corrado" or something like that.Last edited by zib; 01-17-2013 at 03:42 AM.

Brush Storage For Travel?
Oddly enough I asked myself that question last night when I was packing and started looking around in the bathroom and found a good solution.
A plastic soap holder. I know it all depends on the size of the brush but in my case it worked flawlessly.
