Thanked: 3227Sorry, don't own an Omega synthetic but do own 2 Muhle synthetic silver tip brushes, one travel and the other the XL. They have enough backbone to easily load up MWF, Tabac and DR Harris Arlington and do a great job with creams. Keep in mind this is with face lathering, I don't use a bowl. The XL feels soft on the face but if you lean into it a bit you can feel the scrub. To me an excellent balance of soft tips and stiffness. I had heard that synthetics don't hold as much water as badgers but after using the XL I really have to wonder about that. Very happy with them.

Thanked: 3227No, No , No, the king of useless synthetic knots is, maybe, the TBS one. Almost turned me off of trying another synthetic. I am glad it did not do so.
