Omega Synthetic?
I'm looking for information on the Omega synthetic badger #40652. I know the pricing is good and Omega has great quality, I want to know thoughts and experiences.

I have two, sent the wrong one first and they told me to keep it. They work nice on hard soaps, not good for creams. They hold too much water for creams.

Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

The great thing is the fibre itself or better the characteristics of them.
Different knot size are available - I have the small one. Density is medium to "light"
You should have a look on: MÜHLE Rasurkultur: Rasierpinsel, Rasierer, Skin Care für Männer

Omega makes a decent synthetic, that was really good when it came out, and is a step ahead of most synthetics, but Muehle is a generation ahead of them currently.

I bought an Omega high performance barber pole synthetic.
Absolutely hate it. No backbone - just flops over when wet. Poor job of holding soap and water.
Has about the same feel as a soaking wet cotton ball.
The worst brush I have ever used.My father was an engineer. He used to tell me that sharpening a straight razor is like trying to build a ladder to the moon out of a roll of aluminum foil.
