I've yet to receive it yet but there is a seller on Aliexpress.com that sells horse and badger knots. Shipping is taking forever and haven't received the knot yet but for less than $20 US you can have one of these too. 30mm Manchurian/High Mountain Badger.

High Mountain Badger Hair knot (30/80) for Shaving Brush Making-in Shaving Brush from Beauty & Health on Aliexpress.com

How does the ferret measure in?

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I'm not going to lie, I knew that a badger and a ferret were from the same family so I held my brush up to both my male ferrets just to see the resemblance. The hair looks very, very similar. And yes I have lathered with my ferret as some of you might know!!

I have time, both are waiting for handles from a procrastinating woodworker.
