LOL I make SET flea amps and Ichibans are monster power amps aren't they? Here's a preamp and amp setup from Bottlehead. Great kit to learn point to point wiring. No wussy boards here! 1.5 watts of audio extacy.

If you want to spend all $50, Semogue Owners Club Boar. Of the dozens of brushes I have, this one remains my favorite.

If you want to spend about half of your loot.. The B&B Essentials Blonde Boar is a fantastic value for the price. Not quite the SoC, but an awesome brush.

And, if you want to save even more.. Get an Omega 80005 or 81064. These are amazing bargains in every respect. Nice handles, awesome hair and both are lather monsters.. for under $20 each.

    I concur regarding Whipped Dog.

You can get a nice, custom brush for $50.00. I would recommend that as opposed to mass produced. I like dense wood like ebony and lignam vita due to the weight and how they feel in your hand. I just got this one, thanks to Bill (Pixelfixed). It was NOT under $50.00 but the craftsmanship is incredible. Actually, the picture does not do it justice.

Either the Vie Long horse hair or the Simpson Special would be a good choice. Maybe think about the size of the handle if you have large hands or use the soaps. Good luck.
